Neuralgia

Pain in a nerve. Toothache is a kind of neuralgia and so is headache, specially migraine headache. Sciatica is neuralgia. Neuralgia accompanies anemia, diabetes, gout, arthritis, malaria and syphilis. Relief depends on treatment of the underlying condition. Many cases of neuralgia are of psychosomatic origin. |

Inflammation of a nerve. The body areas served by the nerve are painful and tender or lose sensation or lose nerve reflexes. Paralysis and wasting of the muscles then result. It arises due to diabetes, arthritis, beriberi, malaria, leprosy and diphtheria. |
Mars and Mercury cause this disease. |

Piles

| Haemorrhoids or piles are swollen varicose veins situated just inside or outside or across the walls of the anus. The presence of bleeding piles is observed just after a bowel movement. Itching sensation around the anus is caused. Piles are due to constipation, over-weight, sedentary living habits and liver troubles. |
The 7th and 8th house from the ascendant govern sexual parts, anus, rectum. Scorpio controls anus and rectum. Malefics in the 7th and 8th, if heavily afflicted, or Mars in the 8th or Saturn or Rahu in the 8th or Ketu in the 12th gives bleeding piles. |
