Leprosy

Leprosy is a wasting, deforming disease. |
Rahu causes this disease. Rahu or Ketu in 3, 6, 12th house causes leprosy. Kustha yoga is formed when the lord of lagna is conjoined with Mars and Mercury in the 4th or 12th houses or when Jupiter occupies the 6th house along with Saturn and the Moon. If Venus and Mars are in the 7th house, aspected by Ketu or Saturn, a virulent form of leprosy may appear. A person will contact leprosy in his 20th year if Moon and Jupiter are in the 6th house. |

Leucoderma

Leucoderma is depigmentation. White patches, multiple or single, tend to increase in size and spread slowly over many years. The white patches are due to a chemical substance called "Melanin," found in various regions of the body, most abundantly in the skin. Where there is an excess of melanin in the skin, leucoderma appears. |
Moon, Mars and Saturn in Aries or Taurus, or Saturn in the 12th, Mars in the 2nd, Moon in the ascendant and Sun in the 7th, causes this disease. The lord of the ascendant or Moon and Mars if afflicted by Rahu or Ketu give leucoderma. Venus governs our skin and facial beauty. Venus if posited in the ascendant gives good looks. Venus if debilitated or afflicted by malefics in a watery sign or posited in her enemy's sign, gives leucoderma. Mercury rules over skin. Mercury if posited in his enemy's sign or debilitated and afflicted by 2/3 malefics or Moon and Venus if conjoined in a watery sign that is Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, give leucoderma. |
