Gastric
ulcer

| A peptic ulcer is a breach or erosion in the inner linings or the entire wall of the stomach or the duodenum. A true stomach ulcer is called a gastric ulcer; the others are duodenal ulcers. The causes are anxiety, worry, nervous tension, irregular eating, alcohol, spicy dishes, heavy pressures of work etc. An excess of hydrochloric acid in the stomach eats away sites of ulcer causing pain and other complications. | Saturn or Ketu if afflicted in Cancer or Virgo causes gastric ulcer. Sun or Ketu in the 5th house from the ascendant if afflicted by Mars gives this trouble. |

fever

Enteric
or intestinal fever attacking the spleen and bowels causing high
fever, splitting headache, rose-red splotches on the skin, extreme
prostration, bloody stools, diarrhoea and dysentery. The main
symptom is acute diarrhoea with fever.

Jaundice
|

| Jaundice is excess of bile pigment in the circulating blood and the staining of the tissues, skin, eyes etc. Jaundice in the blood may disappear and yet the skin, whites of the eyes and tissues remain yellow for many days. |
Jupiter is the planet for Jaundice. The 5th house, is Virgo and its ruler is Mercury. Mercury afflicted by 2 or 3 malefics, gives this trouble. The 5th house from the ascendant rules stomach. Ketu is planet of chaos and confusion. Ketu if posited in the 5th house and afflicted by 2 or 3 malefics gives this disease. Cancer also governs stomach as it is a watery sign. Its ruler is Moon. Moon if afflicted by malefics in 4, 5, 7th house causes this trouble as also. Mars or Saturn if posited in Cancer. Rahu or Ketu posited in the 7th, causes jaundice. Sun controls glands; Mercury the nerves; Mars the muscles of the stomach; Moon the stomach. Saturn is the controller of brain and stomach. |
